The third generation Hyundai i30 hatchback had its world debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show in September and will be followed by the third generation Hyundai i30 Tourer next year.

Koo Ki Sung studio has created a rendering of the 2017 Hyundai i30 Tourer showing details of the redesigned rear-end and profile.

As depicted in the South Korean publication's rendering, the 2017 Hyundai i30 Tourer is expected borrow the 2017 Hyundai i30 hatchback's front and rear fascias while undergoing minor design changes at the sides. The rendering suggests that the estate version would have a more expressive bumper with vertical reflectors/fog lamps.

With the full makeover this year, the Hyundai i30 hatchback became 40 mm longer, 15 mm wider and up to 15 mm shorter. The boot capacity has been increased from 378 litres (rear seats up)/1,316 litres (rear seats folded) to 395 litres (rear seats up)/1,301 litres (rear seats down). Similar dimension changes can be expected in the estate version.

The 2017 Hyundai i30 Tourer should be offered with the same 1.4-litre MPi petrol, 1.4-litre T-GDi petrol and 1.6-litre diesel engines from the 2017 Hyundai i30 hatchback, along with 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions. The all-new i30 Tourer could debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show in March, with sales commencing soon after.
