The Royal Enfield Continental GT brand name was first introduced in 1965. The Royal Enfield Continental GT cafe racer was showcased at the Bangkok International Motor Show. The cafe racer is a niche offering by the Indian motorcycle maker.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT is powered by a 535 cc single cylinder, air-cooled mill coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The fuel injected engine is capable of producing 29.1 bhp of maximum power at 5,100 rpm and 44 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The kerb weight of the motorcycle is 192 kg.

The fuel tank can store 13.5-litre of petrol. The bike is suspended over 41 mm telescopic forks and twin gas charged shock absorber with adjustable preload by Paioli. Brakes include a 300 mm disc Brembo two-piston floating calliper and a 240 mm disc in the rear with a single piston calliper. Colour options of the Royal Enfield Continental GT includes GT Black, GT Red and GT Green.

The Royal Enfield Continental GT is shod with Pirelli Sport Demon tyres at both ends with a 100/90-18 specification up front and a 130/70-18 in the rear. The bike measures 2,060 mm in length, 760 mm in width and 1,070 mm height.
