A lot can go wrong in just a quarter of a mile. A few years ago, a University of Iowa study confirmed what many had already believed to be true anyway: that crashes in racing are good for ratings.
The study dealt only with NASCAR, and it actually found that this behavior is decreasing, but it’s a pretty good bet that the spectacle of huge drag racing crashes can also make for some good viewing. To that end, we bring you the following video, a compilation of insane drag crashes.
It’s a hell of a thing to see, and possibly a good reason to stay out of drag racing.
