With a length of 4,294 mm, the Vezel is 24 mm longer than the XR-V, while the rest of the dimensions are the same with the width being 1,772 mm and the length being 2,610 mm. Both cars have a wheelbase of 2,610 mm.
When put aside the JDM-spec model, the China-spec model differs with features such as, a chrome strip on the grille and a distinctive alloy wheel design. Unlike the JDM-spec model’s full grey interior, the China-spec model features dual-tone interior scheme on some variants.
Like its cheaper sibling, the Vezel is offered with two petrol engine options – a 131 hp 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 165 hp 1.8-litre petrol engine. The engine can be had with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed CVT and both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants are available.
In China, the Honda Vezel is manufactured by the Guangzhou-Honda JV and was launched in October 2014 in six trim levels.
