The third generation Honda Fit is a step up from the previous model, in terms of design. It looks more sportier and falls in line with Honda’s latest design philosophy. Inside, it features a seven-inch Honda Connect infotainment system that offers internet connectivity, traffic updates, social media, Bluetooth, MirrorLink connectivity, Wi-Fi, etc.
In terms of space, Honda’s 2nd row “Magic Seats” offers MPV-esque versatility, while boot space can be increased from 354 litres (rear seats up) to a generous 884 litres (with them folded down).
The Chinese-spec Fit features a 1.5 litre SOHC i-VTEC engine developing 130 bhp and 155 Nm. The engine is paired to the familiar seven-speed stepped CVT with paddles behind the steering. It’s unlikely that this engine will make it into the Indian-spec Jazz due to non-adherence with Indian small car legislation.
