Slingshot Who? This Custom Trike Is Half Hyundai, Half Gold Wing

There are customs, and then there are customs. Some people hand-form metal into new and fantastic shapes to create their completely bespoke rolling sculptures, and they're frequently rad as hell. And for others, the itch they can't help but scratch happens to be a mashup machine, taking parts of already existing machines and sandwiching them together in new, previously unseen ways. 

To me, it's always cool to see someone really go for it, making something you might never have thought of in your wildest dreams. I like knowing that there are people out there in the world who are just building things to make themselves happy, you know? We could do with more of that in the world, I think.

Anyway, I'm going to go way out on a limb here and say that I'm guessing you've probably never seen someone take the front end of a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon, match it up with the back half of a Honda Gold Wing, and somehow bring the whole thing together to create a bright yellow trike. That is, of course, unless you're in the province of Quebec, Canada, and you've seen this particular vehicle rolling around on the street there.

It is wild. And it's also currently available for sale right now on Facebook Marketplace!

According to the seller, they bought the Tiburon new back in 2001, and put very few miles on it before deciding to turn it into something completely different. The way it's put together, apparently the turn signals, lights, car radio, and even the heating system all work on the resulting trike build. The seller also says the welding was performed by a professional, and that the frame has been fully reinforced to ensure stability. 

In Quebec, it's apparently plated as an off-road ATV, and cannot be made legal for the road. The seller is currently either looking for a trade, or cold, hard cash in the amount of $4,500 Canadian. For Americans, that's just over US $3,200 at the time of writing. A bargain, maybe? Hard to say for sure from photos alone; it all depends on how solid the thing feels when you experience it in person.
