Stolen Car: Two Suspects Arrested
An investigation of the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of Quatre-Bornes on a stolen car reported on February 8 has resulted in the arrest of two suspects.

Owner of the Toyota Belta gray informed the police that his vehicle had been stolen from the Orchid Avenue in Quatre Bornes.

Based on the information gathered, the CID has arrested atTuesday Riyadh Ally Calleekhan, a self-employed Bel-Air resident. The 31 year old suspect confessed to stealing the car before selling it to Abdool Bundhoo Salim, 25, self-employed and resident of Triolet.

The suspect also said they bought an accident car (total loss) during the auction in Port Louis. He then transferred motor of vehicle accident on the stolen car after changing the chassis number.

The stolen vehicle was recovered from the suspect Abdool Salim Bundhoo home. Both individuals are in police cell. More arrests are expected.
