Strengthening Mahindra Scorpio
Mahindra’s single and double-cab Scorpio Pickups now have the security of a locking rear differential added on their standard specification.

Automaker SA's CEO Ashok Thakur said: “We've included a speed-sensing Eaton’s mechanical locking rear differential on all Scorpio bakkie models to enhance the on and off-road capabilities of these tough and durable vehicles.”

The Eaton M-Locker provides full axle lock-up when necessary, automatically disengages at more than 20km/h and is fully compatible with the truck’s standard anti-lock brakes.

“This is the second added-value initiative to be introduced by Mahindra in recent months,” Thakur added. The other is a three-year or 60 000km service plan.

Scorpio truck owners already have a three-year or 100 000km warranty, air-condition, power windows and central locking.
