Vieux Moulin presents best selling Chinese pick-up models
The Centre Commercial du Vieux Moulin, Rose Belle, organised a car expo titled ‘La Fete Des Voitures’ (car expo) over the weekend. Organised in the south of the island, the event was held to present the two highest selling brands of pick-ups and other vehicles from China.

The vehicles were Cherry and Foton. According to a marketing consultant from the Centre Commercial du Vieux Moulin, these pick-ups are the most equipped in their category.

The International Dealership Company Ltd (IDC), a subsidiary of Iframac, introduced the visitors to a string of very appealing vehicles, which were being sold at a promotional price. The Foton SUPV promotional price was Rs 570,000 on road and Foton Conqueror cost Rs 630,000 on road.

CIM Finance was invited to be part of the expo. They provided on the spot financial solutions to customers.

The marketing consultant said, “This expo is different because it was held in the interiors of the complex. We received a a very positive response. Many vehicles were sold on the spot.”

IPO (Iframac Pre-Owned Ltd), asubsidiary of Iframac was also present to showcase their second hand vehicles (Mazda Demio, Peugeot 308, Nissan Tiida and the jeep Cheerokee).

For those interested in knowing more about the pick-ups, the head office of IDC and IPO are located at Plaine Lauzun, in the same compound as Iframac.

As part of the event, they also had Disney figures from Pierre Poivre Entertainment as well as clowns to entertain the crowd. The host of the event was Raj Gokhool.

The event continues on April 16 and 17 with an expo on the Vintage Volkswagen Beetle.

This event will revolve around an 80s theme with costumes, décor and music from that decade.
