So while you might think of motor scooters as little more than an easy, cheap, quick and (if we're being completely honest here) downright fun way of getting around town, you can pretty much be guaranteed that someone, somewhere will be racing them.

And that's just what we've found in the video, where a group of speed junkies set up an autocross circuit in a parking lot and went at it – complete with some of the least threatening crashes and spills you'll ever see in any form of motorsport.
