Hyundai has already confirmed that the Genesis EQ900 will launch in December, and the international version, the Genesis G90, will launch globally next year.
The full-size luxury sedan is, according to Hyundai Vice Chairman Yang Woong-chul, the “most advanced full-size luxury sedan that will set a new paradigm for the segment”. Genesis is Hyundai’s answer to brands like Infiniti and Lexus, which are respective spin-offs from Nissan and Toyota.
The Genesis G90/Genesis EQ900 features an all new design that appears to draw influence from the Hyundai Vision G Coupe unveiled at Pebble Beach this year. The interior of the Genesis G90 will feature modern ERGO seats, and will be equipped with features like semi-autonomous HDA (Highway Driving Assist), DAA (Driver attention Alert), ASD (Active Sound Design) and HVCS (Hyundai Variable Control Suspension).
