Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) is releasing its first line of retail performance parts. They go on sale next March, allowing Honda and Acura owners to upgrade their vehicles with pieces ripped from the track.
The initial line will include upgrades for the Honda Passport, Honda Pilot, Honda Civic Type R, and Acura Integra Type S. Jon Ikeda, HRC US’s senior vice president, said:
‘Our new HRC Performance Parts are designed and developed by HRC engineers with the same attention to detail given to our championship-winning race cars, both on and off-road. HRC Performance Parts will elevate the driving experience wherever our customers take their Honda and Acura vehicles – on the road, to the track and on the trail.’
At this year’s SEMA Show, HRC will showcase prototypes of future parts, including a six-piston Brembo brake kit, a short-throw shifter, and adjustable coilovers with camber plates. But until those upgrades become real products, you can buy these products instead.
One of HRC’s first retail products is a set of 19-inch wheels for the Honda Civic Type R and Acura Integra Type S. HRC developed them in partnership with 2elle engineering, the wheel supplier for the Acura ARX-06.
The wheels measure 10 inches wide, 0.5 inches wider than stock, and weigh 20.8 pounds, or 5.5 lbs less than OEM. The wheels also have a 55-millimeter offset, 5 mm more than stock.
The wheels are available in gray or bronze. They fit 2023 and newer Civic Type Rs and 2024 and newer Integra Type Ss.
The 18-inch off-road wheels, developed in collaboration with Titan 7, the wheel supplier of HRC’s Pike’s Peak efforts, are made from aircraft-grade aluminum. They feature a 40-millimeter offset and a 220-pound higher load capacity than the factory wheel.
The wheels fit 2026 and newer Passport and 2023 and newer Pilot SUVs. They will be available in black and bronze, with Honda Racing machined into the wheel face.
HRC also has a stainless-steel cat-back exhaust system for the Passport and Pilot developed in partnership with Borla. It increases exhaust flow rate by 6.0 percent and features Borla’s "Polyphonic Harmonizer" and “Anti-Drone” technology.
The exhaust system not only enhances the sound of the 3.5-liter V6 engine that powers the two SUVs, but it also increases ground clearance. Honda claims the new exhaust adds 1.9 inches of ground clearance.
Honda caps the exhaust with HRC-branded tips. The upgrade is compatible with 2023 and newer Pilots and 2026 and newer Passports.
Honda says these new HRC parts will become available starting in March 2027. They will be available through Honda and Acura dealerships nationwide and through Honda's online DreamShop.
Honda did not provide any pricing information, but we expect that closer to the lineup’s launch date.
