Manhart MH4 900 Is a BMW M4 CSL on Steroids
This Manhart-tuned BMW M4 CSL boasts 909 brake horsepower, a carbon fiber body kit, and a few other modifications, and it is an absolute beast

At first glance, you may not be able to tell that this BMW M4 actually started life in the rare and more exciting CSL configuration, and not as the regular Coupe. Unless you are already familiar with it.

But how would that be? Well, from our initial coverage of this build, for one, which dates back to a little over two months ago. However, while the information that we shared with you back then, courtesy of Manhart, which is the tuner behind this insane machine, was accompanied by static shots, the company recently took to its social media channels to release a short video of the project, which puts the spotlight on the car’s dynamic credentials.

You may want to keep an eye on those dynamics, because the so-called Manhart MH4 900 is so powerful that it could actually give modern-day supercars a run for their money, while humiliating some older blue-blooded exotics, both in a straight-line acceleration, and on a twisty mountain road. That is due to the fact that it has 909 brake horsepower to play with. The output equals 922 metric horsepower and 678 kilowatts, and the peak torque stands at 888 pound-feet (1,190 Nm) of torque.

According to the information that the tuner originally dropped, the S58 engine has been upgraded with improved turbos and a remapped ECU. The 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged straight-six mill is normally good for 542 brake horsepower (550 ps/405 kW) and 479 pound-feet (650 Nm) of torque. Therefore, with the extras up and running, the Manhart MH4 900 is actually 367 hp (372 ps/274 kW) and 398 pound-feet (540 Nm) of torque more powerful.

Do you know what would have been nice? If Manhart actually revealed how fast the MH4 900 is from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph). Still, we can assume that the sprint time has probably dropped a bit below the 3.0-second mark. The reason is the fact that the stock BMW M4 CSL completes the sprint in 3.7 seconds.

In addition to the crazy power boost, this Manhart-tuned BMW M4 CSL benefits from a chin spoiler, a large diffuser, side skirt add-ons, new door mirror caps, a ducktail spoiler, and a few other things. The body kit was crafted entirely from carbon fiber, and in plain Manhart fashion, the car features a black look and plenty of gold decals. It also rides on new wheels that have a concave design, and a multi-spoke pattern.

The Manhart MH4 900 is a different kind of animal, one that can almost make the original Bugatti Veyron blush. But if you were a real BMW fan and had all the money in the world, would you really get this one over the bone-stock M4 CSL?
