Pedal mistake proved that Chinese car stronger than walls
A rather confused driver smashed his auto through a car park wall after a mix up with his pedals.

Orange.co.uk reports that a Chinese male driver was driving through a car park when the driver suddenly accelerated his Chinese-made Haima car and crashed into a nearby wall.

The auto smashed through the car park’s second story wall and came to a rest hanging perilously above the street below in Chongqing city.

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital and after a check-up confirmed that he tested negative for alcohol. The female passenger was uninjured.

The man admitted that it was merely a mix-up with his pedals which caused the accident. The driver commented, "I was on a downward slope and simply hit the gas pedal instead of the brake."

Garbage collector Huang Xiaoping, who lives next to the car park, said he had awoken to head for work when he heard the car crashing nearby. "I heard two explosions and I ran outside to see a car sticking out of the wall with the front wheels still spinning. I thought it was a movie shoot at first but then I said to my wife that it sounded too realistic," said Xiaoping.

A car park attendant said the driver lived nearby and had been a regular at the car park. He has been parking here for a long time - he certainly isn't a novice driver," he said.
