This guy was Option B if Van Damme was booked. Earlier this month the "Muscles from Brussels" himself, Jean-Claude Van Damme, did the splits between a pair of moving Volvo semi-truck rigs.
The stunt was actually very impressive and it may have been the best commercial Volvo Trucks, or even Volvo itself, has ever done. And it was only a matter of time until someone attempted an impersonation of the stunt without managing to kill themselves. Who would even try something like this? If you guessed some crazy Russian or Belarussian in this case, you’d be right.
Instead of Volvo trucks, a couple of old 60s era ZAZ cars were used, and Yevgeny Yakush did the splits -without safety equipment and on wet pavement. It clearly demonstates why Van Damme was the way to go.
