Two out of three ain't so bad. In a battle that was billed as Germany Vs. America, a BMW M4 with a custom Stage 2 kit that boosted the coupe to 550 hp came up against a Chevy Corvette ZR1 with a similar performance kit that upped output to 720 hp.
The cars met on the drag strip and in two runs down the one-kilometer stretch of tarmac, there was a clear winner. Despite being almost 200 hp worse off, the M4, thanks also to a new set of tires and wheels, was able to get a much better start and hold onto the lead throughout the sprint.Finally, Germany was able to put one over the yanks.
