3 arrests for car theft

Following the information gathered on Sunday night, a team from the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of Grand Bay, including the sergeant and constables Ragoonundun Soobrayen, Adhin, Khodabux, Aganthooa Beeharry and under the supervision of the DI and DCI Jodhooa Beeharree, went to Quatre-Bornes. And they found the stolen vehicle that was involved in an accident. Three people were arrested in the wake of this case.
This officer - assigned to the police station in Quatre-Bornes but had finished his service - who spotted the thieves. They are Mohamad Najeed Boodhoo, 26 years Péreybère, Mohamad Nadee Boodhoo, 26, of Riviere-des-eels and Gerome Steve Nolan, 36, lives in Curepipe. During a grilling on the premises of the Central Investigation Division, they confessed to the theft. The police suspected the authors of several other crimes in the region north of the country. The three appeared in court in Mapou on Monday morning with a load of 'larceny'. They have been 'remanded to police cell', the police have objected to their release. The investigation is ongoing.
