Ex-vice-Prime Minister's and his nephew's cars parked in a shed beside his house were burned. Around 3 am Harish Boodhoo was awakened by his nephew told him that his car was burning. Once outside, the two men try to take the extinguisher to fight the fire. But the fire was too intense.

They were helpless when the fire reached the Proton, parked just before the 4 x 4, an almost new vehicle as of December 2010.

"I was afraid that the two vehicles explode. Fortunately, it did not happen," says Harish Boodhoo. He immediately called the fire-fighters who responded very quickly to control the flames.

For Harish Boodhoo, this type of incident does not depend on luck. More so than its neighbours out to have been unknown to flee into the cane fields adjacent to Belle Terre.

"It is clear that it puts pressure on me to help tell the truth. This does not diminish my desire. Those who feel targeted by the campaign that I lead the last few weeks should know that nobody will stop me from telling the truth," says Harish Boodhoo to lexpress.mu.

"I leave everything in the hands of the police to complete this survey. But I must say I have more confidence. I no longer believe in the good will of ordinary people, as simple officers," said he.

Harish Boodhoo said he had been pressured over the past two weeks. This has intensified, he says, since he denounces on his Facebook page "illegal activities" of many organizations.
