Between and Surinam Souillac: New Bridge Operational

Souillac Bridge was reopened yesterday to 14 hours. The relief was generally on the side of the locals, who consider themselves "liberated weighing" huge. Since Tuesday, they were in fact forced to take the road to Mont-Blanc to go to Port Louis Curepipe or even to stop in Surinam to continue on foot to the bridge to take another bus.

But the spirits have calmed down since last Tuesday. And anger has since given way to peace. The inhabitants of Veerasamy Road, Suriname - who felt the "have-account government" - have changed their minds since the reopening of the bridge to traffic. "I thank the government for a solution as fast until the bridge is completely finished," says Kamal Bondy, a former adviser to the village.

Suddenly, there were many yesterday to admire the bridge. Standing, watching the traffic, some even showed a broad smile. Like Mr. Bondy, who - eyes on the bridge - asked: "Or how transportation is through the pe? ". I must say that the last three days have been a real nightmare for the southerners. "They had to walk 200 meters to reach the other side of the bridge," explains Mr. Bondy, adding immediately: "Fortunately, the

villagers have collaborated and realized it was an unpredictable natural disaster . "

Small flat, but not least, the bridge is not provided a path for pedestrians. This poses a

real problem. "We want a transition to faster," claims the former adviser to Surinam. Another

negative point: a metal plate on which the cars pass, which is a bit "slippery", representing a real danger.
