Oh yes, we do miss the '80s and early '90s. There was a time when pop-up headlights appeared on many cars, not just supercars.
But it was the latter that made them sexy. In fact, pop-up headlights on any type of performance car were just damn cool. Unfortunately, they had their problems. Not to mention the fact they didn't help with aerodynamics, pop-up lights sometimes just stopped working outright. Sure, they could be fixed but this was never a cheap repair. But still, cars like the Ferrari F40, Lamborghini Countach, and the BMW M1 all had their headlights hidden during daylight.
