Grand Baie: Collision Between Two Boats Injured Two

A collision between two boats made two wounded in the lagoon of Grand Baie on Saturday afternoon around 17 hours. A boat that was headed by a 64 year old man, living in Grand Bay, struck a pleasure boat. A couple who was on board was injured on impact.The couple was taken to hospital for treatment.

In addition, a 27-year-old resident Lawn, was found with serious injuries Saturday afternoon when he was on the Ile-aux-Cerfs. He was transported to the hospital in Flacq.

According to available information, the condition is considered serious. However, the circumstances surrounding his injuries have not yet been established. Police opened an investigation into this matter.
