He Steals a Motorcycle and Struck Two Police Officers
A repeat offender will have to appear in court on Monday for deliberately knocking down two policemen who were stationed at a checkpoint on the main road in Henrietta, on the night of Friday.

The motorcyclist, aged 21, traveling on a stolen motorcycle, attempted to burn the checkpoint when police signaled him to stop for verification. Afraid of being caught, he overthrew two policemen before fleeing. This incident led to a chase that led to the arrest of the suspect. 

Since he was placed in police custody until his appearance in court Monday for his indictment. 

Several units of the police force, including the Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU), the CID, the Emergency Response Service (ERS) and the Divisional Supporting Unit (DSU) of the Central Division conducted an operation of 'road block' on the main road in Rochester on Friday night.

 Police arrested the suspect before taking him to the police station for questioning Vacoas. Investigators said a statement was made on April 15 indicating that the bike was stolen. An investigation is underway.
