Stolen car found burned at Riche-Terre
On the evening of June 1, two cars were stolen in Ste-Croix and Plaine Verte respectively. One of them was used to steal during Wednesday night and all day Thursday.

The police insure that this is only a matter of hours before the hounds never stop thieves who pose as officers to better fool people. Otherwise, they use force and threats.

As for the other, it was still not found until the police discovered the charred fei Jin, Riche-Terre. The owner has positively identified his car. The SOCO officers have taken samples. The detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division North Port Louis have launched an investigation that led to the arrest of a man named Yusuf Khan Ali Khan aged 46, resident ranger Plaine Verte.

Yusuf Khan was on board a Toyota Belta metallic gray, like the stolen car. Police suspect that several pieces of stolen car have been tampered with and installed on another. The owner of the stolen car has positively identified the bumper of the Toyota Belta as his own.

In his deposition, the ranger said he bought the car during the week and said the car had been unaware that spare parts from a stolen car.

A source close to the IDC reveals that more arrests are imminent in this case.
