Terre Rouge-Verdun: Section Valentina-Bagatelle Ready to the End of January

"This is a huge relief for the traffic on the M1 highway." This was said Anil Bachoo, Infrastructure Minister during a visit last section linking Valentina Bagatelle Monday January 6. The work is 80% completed and the road will be operational in late January, the minister said.

This ramp, which extends over three kilometers bind the M1 to M3 (Terre Rouge-Verdun).Besides traffic on the M1, it should greatly alleviate congestion near roundabouts and Dowlut Pont Fer Phoenix.

This section was delayed for two years because of disputes some landowners. The latter protested against land acquisition by the State.
