World's most expensive 2011 cars
Some folks opt to buy a mansion or a private jet, for others the need for speed is simply too great and a garage full of expensive cars is seen as a far better way to show off your wealth.

If you're in the market for a new ride and money is of no concern you might want to check out Forbes' magazine's list of the most expensive street-legal cars.

Topping the list is Buggati's ultra-fast and ultra-expensive Bugatti Veyron SuperSports at £1.7m (Rs 78.66 million). You'd better act fast as the automaker plans to release a limited number of its hypercar. At least you'll make a return on your investment since the fewer Veyrons there are, the more each one should be worth.

To compile it lists Forbes reviewed price from ultra-luxury automakers and specialists and chose only cars that were in production and street legal, which eliminated the now discontinued Ferrari Enzo (Rs 18.9 million) and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Roadster (Rs 14.28 million).

If you're looking for a monster track machine be prepared to splash out on the Koenigsegg Agera at No.2 on the list; or perhaps you'd rather be chauffeured in a luxury ride such as the Maybach Landaulet at No.3 for a mere £903 636.

For a classic millionaire ride and pure lady-charming appeal you could opt for the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV at £293 940. Though even the Lambo's cringeworthy price is outclassed by the upcoming Pagani Zonda C9 which will scoop the No.4 spot on the world's most expensive car list at £839 091.

1 Bugatti Veyron SuperSports - £1.7m (Rs 78.66 million)
