2017 Honda Shuttle (Honda City wagon) to launch in Japan on 14 September
The current Honda Shuttle was launched in Japan in May 2015 and will receive a minor refresh this year.

According to a report from Livedoor Blog, Honda will announce the 2017 Honda Shuttle on 14 September. Market launch of the new model will take place a day later.

The Honda Shuttle is still quite new and it is too early in its lifecycle for major visual changes. From one of the leaked images, the larger Honda logo on the grille is the only notable change. The minor refresh planned for 2017 is mainly about bringing the wagon on par with other latest Honda models in technology.

Honda will offer the 2017 Honda Shuttle with the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies. Honda Sensing includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Low-Speed Follow, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Collision Mitigation Braking System and Forward Collision Warning. The new Shuttle should feature all or most of these technologies.

Along with the second generation i-DCD hybrid, the 2017 Honda Shuttle should continue with the 1.5L petrol option for a more economical pricing. The current Shuttle petrol's 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine produces 132 PS and 155 Nm of torque and is married to a continuously variable transmission.

The 2017 Honda Shuttle will feature LED fog lights, new infotainment system, climate control system with Plasmacluster technology, new cup holders and heated front seats. More details should emerge in the coming weeks.
