At 85 - She was Killed on Her Way to Church

Rosemay Cabon, 85 years old and a resident of a nursing home in Palma, died Sunday. The accident occurred Saturday, March 31, 8.35 h. The old lady was walking along the road from Palma to go to church when she was hit by a "contract bus" heading towards Flic en Flac.

The octogenarian has not survived his injuries. She passed away around 16.20.

"Rosemary Cabon was charming. She was always close to his children. She never neglected his family, "says one of her sisters.

An autopsy, performed at the hospital by Dr. Prem Candos Shaman, medical examiner attributed the death to a heart attack.

The driver bus, a man named S. Ramoo, 32, and lives in L'Escalier, has undergone a breath test which proved negative. He appeared in court Bamboo, Monday. He was released after furnishing a deposit of Rs 4000. He will appear again in court July 12.

The funeral will be held Rosemay Cabon this Saturday, April 7, so that his children who are abroad to attend. The police investigation is under the supervision of ASP Armoogum.
