Accident: Sexagenarian Died Hit by Taxi in Calebasses
The road has claimed another victim in the evening yesterday. Lutchmaya Ramanah, aged 60, was hit by a taxi Calebasses. The latter died on the spot. The autopsy will be performed today.
The accident occurred around 20hr30 yesterday, Tuesday, April 2. Lutchmaya Ramanah, a resident of Calebasses, aged sixty years, died on the spot. He was hit by a car while crossing the road in front of a service station in Calebasses.
An autopsy will be performed today. The driver, a 38 year old and lives in Port-Louis has been tested negative for alcohol. However, he appears in court this Wednesday, April 3.
