Accidents: Two More Dead This Weekend
A black series. Since Friday, August 30, the balance sheet is already at four deaths on our roads. The last fatal accident was in 5:00 on Sunday morning, September 1, in Pamplemousses. The other accident took place yesterday at Triolet.

They were six in a car on the road Pamplemousses Sunday morning, September 1. Occupants: 2 Mauritians and 4 Malagasy women. But their car skidded around 5:00 am and rolled over several times. The shock was such that the Malagasy Fidelicia Razanandarboto 29 years, died on the spot. Mauritians, they have taken to their heels ... Pamplemousses Police began an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.

Another accident occurred in Triolet Saturday, August 31. It is around 17: 30 pm that two motorcycles collided. The drivers were rushed to hospital in the North. But one of them succumbed to his injuries. This is Bhimal Lalldev, 56, a resident of Triolet. 

The other driver, a 20 year old, Parlackee Barun was slightly injured during the accident. He was questioned by police and allowed to go home. 

With these two fatal accidents, the number of fatalities is four, just since Friday, August 30. That day, it is a security officer who died on the spot on the highway heading north. The pedestrian, aged 62, was attempting to cross the highway when a car hit him. A total of three vehicles were subsequently collided.

During the same day, on the Royal road, Mapu, the passenger behind him on a motorcycle was killed. The vehicle was driven by Manogen Subaroyen, 33 years old and living Poudre d'Or Hamlet.

The passenger behind him, Vishnu Naiken, 25, a resident of Butte, died while he was being taken to hospital. The driver of the motorcycle, he was subjected to a breath test which proved positive. He was admitted to the SSRN Hospital, Pamplemousses, and was placed under police surveillance.
