Accidents: two seriously injured
The black series continues unabated. Accidents on our roads are becoming more common despite the vigilance of law enforcement.

The residents of Red Earth awoke with a start after an accident that occurred up to the roundabout at the resort Tuesday morning.

A car crashed into a motorcyclist who was riding in the direction of St Joseph. The impact was so violent that the victim was thrown on the asphalt.

The latter was rushed to hospital in North for first aid.

Same scenario, a car struck a motorcyclist. The victim, a resident at Roche-Bois, was transported to hospital where she was admitted to the intensive care unit. The driver resides in Mahebourg.

In both cases, the police opened an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of these accidents.

In addition, 153 people died in traffic accidents.

The number of fatal accidents on our roads has increased by 18.6% or 153 deaths in 2010 compared to 129 in 2009.

The country has also experienced an 8.4% increase in the number of accidents recorded. 41 263 are listed in 2010 against 38 058 in 2009, according to the report of the Central Bureau of Statistics.
