Bel-Etang Accident: Driver of the Van Tested Positive for Alcohol

He had more than 30 micrograms of alcohol in the breath when breath test, while the limit is 23 micrograms. This was revealed on the breathalyzer of Beejansing Beeharry done after the Bel-Etang accident which killed four people this Tuesday, June 11 After questioning, he was brought before the Court of Flacq for dangerous driving. The driver is still in police custody.
