At 13, he risks losing the use of his left leg. Jordan Sebline was seriously injured following a road accident at Le Cornu, St. Croix, in the afternoon of Wednesday, March 30. The tragedy happened when the teenager, a college student pre-vocational Père Laval, tried to board a moving bus.

A motorcyclist stopped to provide first aid to Jordan Sebline, bleeding profusely. Immediately alerted the police of Holy Cross transported the boy to the hospital Dr. AG Jeetoo, Port Louis.

At the hospital Dr. AG Jeetoo, relatives and teachers pray for the youth to recover. "Merely the idea that he may lose the use of his leg gives us chilling.We intend to take drastic measures at the school administration for such an incident does not recur, " says Bruno Baillache.

Upon his arrival at the hospital, the young man had to undergo delicate surgery. Doctors said the possibility of it being cut should not be dismissed because the victim has a significant fracture and severe injuries.

This is not the first time such an incident occurs. In February 2009, Dhamina Hallomun, a student of London College, aged 11, had a leg amputated following a road accident at Red Earth. She was pushed by a person while trying to board a bus individually. Following this incident, nearly 200 people in Terre-Rouge had demonstrated in protest against the conduct of employees of individual buses.
