Dangerous Driving: New Accident at Sorèze
Three vehicles were involved in an accident on Highway Sorèze yesterday afternoon, Monday, March 10. The record is five injured, two in critical condition, a resident of Port-Louis 21 years old and an employee 's Airports of Mauritius Ltd (AML) 64.

It is about 200 meters from Pont-Colville Deverell that the accident occurred. Immediately alerted the Police Traffic Branch , led by Inspector Ashok Matar, Pailles and police went to the scene.

Three ambulances and emergency vehicles of firefighters medical services were dispatched to that location. They evacuated the wounded to hospital after being extricated from crashed vehicles with the help of a team from the Special Supporting Unit passing by.

Vehicles involved in the accident were a Mitsubishi Lancer, driven by the inhabitant of Port-Louis, 21, a van with five seats carrying three occupants, 34-year-old driver residing in New Grove and two employees AML: an inhabitant of Arsenal aged 28 and a 64 year old man residing in New Grove. The third vehicle is a 4 x 4 belonging to the Ministry of Environment, led by an inhabitant of Epinay 56 years old.

The driver of the Mitsubishi was taken to the hôpitalVictoria, Candos, and the other four were injured, them transported to Dr AG Jeetoo hôpital, Port Louis. The health of the first and one of the employees of AML is considered a concern. They were both admitted. 

An investigation was opened at the police station Pailles to understand the circumstances in which the accident took place.

According to cross the police, the Mitsubishi Lancer have rolled several times. Two of the three drivers involved were subjected to a breath test which proved negative.
