A dramatic crash in Cassis that could have serious effects

More fear than harm for four young Port-Louisiens in road accident in Cassis. They should be grateful because they got true miracles.

By 22:30, Sunday, Jan. 2, the four young men, cousins, were driving a car near the cemetery in the West and were moving toward the centre of the capital.

The auto was riding at high speed. At the height of the Royal College of Port Louis, on the way to Cassis, the driver lost control of his car. The car tore a tower of Mauritius Telecom. Auto leaft the road and reverse a motorcyclist before getting all four wheels in the gutter along the Royal College.

Locals involved by the noise came to the car that fallen into the canal to rescue the injured. Accident victims have been retrieved from the car with huge difficulty but luckily they escaped with minor injuries.

The injured were transported to hospital Jeetoo. An investigation is underway to determine more precisely the accidence circumstances.
