Fatal Accident in Saint-Pierre: Two Youths Arrested for Hit and Run

Two young, aged respectively 22 and 25, both residing St. Peter, were arrested by police Tuesday, April 30. The youngest was driving the car when it struck the sixties. They, however, admitted that he fled without wearing any assistance to it.

The tragedy happened just before six o'clock, Sunday, April 28. Residents discovered the lifeless body of Rajkumar Soowambur on asphalt with multiple injuries. The police thought that this inhabitant of Petit Verger was the victim of a "hit and run" had opened an investigation that led to these arrests.
