The Former Deputy SIMDUT Richard Duval Refuses Breathalyzer After  Accident
The "chairman" of the "State Property Development Corporation " was off the road at straws yesterday, Sunday, July 21, to 21 hours. It is expected today, Monday, July 22, at the police station of the town to complete his testimony.

Richard Duval, a former member of the Mauritian Social Democratic Party (SIMDUT) and current chairman of the State Property Development Corporati on (SPDC) has been involved in a road accident yesterday, Sunday, July 21 to 21 hours, up to Mauvilac, Pailles. According to his statement to the police, Richard Duval had tried to avoid a car traveling at high speed. He had only minor injuries as a result of this off-road. 

Police said the former member refused to submit to a breathalyzer, which is to detect the possible presence of alcohol in the body. However, it is a standard procedure after any accident.

The chairman of the SPDC is expected at police station Pailles on Monday to complete his evidence on this matter. Accompanied by his lawyer, he will be required to provide details of the vehicle that caused her to lose control of his car. 

However, at this stage, Richard Duval may simply accumulate a certain number of points on his license, according to the Point Penalty System recently introduced.
