Sagoteen Domarah experienced a gruesome end. This inhabitant of Gros-Cailloux, Little River, aged 59, passed away Monday afternoon in the ICU of the hospital Dr. AG Jeetoo.

He was admitted since Saturday, after suffering a car accident. A 13-ton truck, loaded with flour, overthrew the fifties who was on a moped. The accident occurred up to Cité Richelieu.

According to reports, the motorcyclist was trapped when the truck was negotiating a turn. 

Police in Little River and the SAMU ambulance was summoned to the scene. Sagoteen Domarah was rushed to the hospital Dr. AG Jeetoo. The victim, who was returning from work, was seriously wounded in the leg. 

At home, Domarah there is consternation. There was no indication that Sagoteen would push his last breath. " Li ti pe causé tout, mo ti demande li si li pe gagne douleur, li dire moi ène tigit dans so li pied ," recalls his son aged 30. His family described him as a very cheerful, helpful and very active in the social field, despite his health problems. 

Sagoteen Domarah's funeral took place Tuesday. An autopsy by the medical examiner of the police attributed his death to a heart attack. 

The driver, a resident of Bois Marchand, 49, underwent a breath test which proved negative. He appeared in court Bamboo, where an interim charge of manslaughter has been lodged against him. He found parole after providing a surety of Rs 10,000. In a recorded statement to police, the driver told investigators he could not avoid the motorcyclist who was on his left while he was negotiating a turn.
