Violently Struck By a Truck, Motorcyclist Succumbs to Injuries
Accidents are occurring at an alarming rate. Last night, Wednesday, March 5, Louis Philogène, 39, succumbed to injuries after spending four days in hospital in the North. The victim was on a motorcycle on the main road to adventure when she was violently struck by a truck.
With this accident, there are now 25 deaths on our roads since January. During the weekend, not less than two other victims of road accidents died . Not to mention that since the beginning of the week, accidents causing several serious injuries have also increased.
Yesterday, at Belle Rose, a motorcyclist and two cars collided . The condition of the motorcyclist is considered serious. Another example: Tuesday, a motorcyclist was seriously injured in an accident at Baie du Tombeau. It was the cyclist Pascal Ladaub.
